With over 40 years’ experience in property, Mark founded his first property company in 1984 and has been the CEO of London and District since its inception. He is heavily involved in the day-to-day running of the business, inspecting sites and potential acquisitions every day and managing ongoing projects.

Gideon has been in the property industry since 2002 and has a proven track record of successful transactions of all sizes. His role is to source new opportunities, build new partnerships, while also enhancing existing relationships, and negotiate and oversee acquisitions and disposal processes.

Since 2012 Ray has brought a wealth of experience from the public and private sector to London and District. A certified chartered accountant, he is the conduit between our finance team and our auditors, ensuring high standards of compliance are attained.

For many years Sandra has been a part of the London and District team. As property manager she oversees all the supervision of our let properties, including regular inspections of our entire portfolio and fortnightly visits to the HMOs. Sandra is vital for maintaining the very high standards for our rental portfolio.

An economics graduate and a CITB certified project manager, Kamila has worked in the property industry for many years. Having moved over to the finance department her experience has proved invaluable in processing complex company transactions.

Shan is our head of construction. With more than 20 years’ experience, he leads a strong team of 15 highly qualified building professionals, undertaking refurbishments of new buildings, while still keeping a high standard of maintenance on all London and Districts rental properties. He is a keen marathon runner and has raced all over the world with CEO Mark Smith.

Anzelika is qualified in Bookkeeping, and with her commitment, adaptability, and dedication, she provides solid support to the Finance Department.
Her background in customer-facing logistics has polished her organisational skills, which are beneficial to this role. She is multi-lingual and speaks three languages: English, Russian, and Polish.
Anzelika enjoys participating in different charity events and recently, with a group of her colleagues, has completed the Half Marathon of the Shine Night Walk in London.

Primarily, the portfolio is made-up of flats and apartments, individual dwellings, retail units and serviced or multi-occupation business premises. London & District Housing Ltd regularly source properties and development projects through residential and commercial estate agents and auctioneers, retaining the finding agent on acquisition fee and are happy to retain the services of letting or managing agents on a similar basis. London and District tenants reflect the diverse breadth of the portfolio, ranging from professional individuals or organisations to families in private residential property and social housing residents.
Current expansion opportunities include the acquisition and quality renovation of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO’s), to provide practical, stylish and affordable homes.

The nearest tube station (West Hampstead, on the Jubilee Line) and London Overground Station (West Hampstead Overground) are both a three-minute walk from the office, with West Hampstead Thameslink station directly opposite. For visitors travelling by car, there is metered on-street parking available immediately outside.
